|Silt Removal Project News
|Posted on Jan 29th, 2015
THe HOA is preparing for the upcoming silt removal project, tentatively slated to begin in the early fall of 2015. The Silt Committee has begun to move forward with some prep work to facilitate the silt removal project. One item of concern is the movement of docks in dredged areas. In order to maximize the benefits of dredging, as much as silt as possible should be removed. The following attachment is a proposed change to the Dock Regulations, which addresses dock relocations for dredging.
Also, in an effort to remove as much silt as possible, dredging contractors will not come within a certain distance to sea walls, shore lines, etc without a liability release form signed by the property owner. Attached is a draft copy of a waiver and release form that the HOA may be requesting all property owners to sign in order to maximize the amount of silt removed from the lake, especially cove areas.
