Fast Facts of the Area....
Water Billing...
The City of Lake Winnebago runs their own water
district. Your water billing is the first of each
month with payment due by the 20th. Included in the
water billing is sewer and trash. Auto payment
withdrawal from your checking is available fro your water
bills, see the City Clerk for details.

Trash Service...
Trash service is provided by Town & Country
Disposal. The billing is included in your water
bill. Household and yard waste must be
separated. For large pickups please contact Town
& Country at 380-5595. Yard waste must be
contained within brown paper disposable bags, with a limit
of 7 bags per week. The weight limit on yard waste is
65 pounds per bag. Twigs and limbs need to be bundled
in no larger than 2x4 foot bundles and tied together.
All trash needs to be at curbside by 7:00am each Monday
morning.

Recycling...
Town and Country Disposal provides recycle bins which
are available at City Hall. They accept plastic,
glass, aluminum and paper for recycling. the recycle
bin needs to be put at curbside by 7:00am each Monday
morning.

Dog Licensing...
All dogs must have a Lake Winnebago Dog License.
Licenses are $3.00 per animal and are due each January
1st. The limit is 2 dogs per household. A
current rabies record (within the last year) must be shown
to purchase license. The following breeds are
prohibited in the City: Pit Bull, Rottweiler,
Wolf-Hybrid and Doberman Pinscher.

City Stickers...
Each vehicle garaged at Lake Winnebago must display a
current City Sticker. The cost for the sticker is
$7.00 per vehicle. city stickers are due January 1st
of each year. You will need to bring your previous
year personal property tax receipt when purchasing your City
Sticker.

Remodeling...
If you plan to do any remodeling on your home please
contact City Hall to see if a permit is required. You
will also need to Contact the HOA for approval.
Remodeling of any part of the home including decking or
patios.

Parking...
No boat or trailer may be parked in your driveway for
more than 5 days in any 30 day period of time.

Schools...
There are three districts within the City limits;
Lee's Summit RVII, Ray Pec RII and Pleasant Hill RIII.
Please contact the school districts to determine which
district your children will attend.

Homeowner's Association...
The Homeowner's Association is located in the Community
Center along with City Hall. They approve any building
designs, new materials, and govern lake, fish, dam,
parks, boat or dock issues.
